Patta continues its longstanding partnership with Wax Poetics through a new collaboration honouring one of hip-hop’s most influential visual institutions: Pen & Pixel. Emerging from Houston’s Rap-A-Lot era in the early 1990s, Pen & Pixel redefined rap artwork through bold, maximalist designs that became synonymous with Southern hip-hop culture. Best known for creating iconic covers for artists including Master P, Cash Money, Geto Boys, 8Ball & MJG and many more. Their unmistakable visual language of chrome typography, diamonds, flames and surreal compositions helped shape an entire era of music and design.
